Club Awards

Club Fairest & Best

This award is presented to a player who embodies all the attributes necessary to play and perform at the highest level – outstanding netball skills, commitment to teamwork, willingness to learn and develop, passion for the game and dedication.

Best New Talent

This award is presented to a new player at the club who is selected to play at the highest level. The person selected must display established skills with the potential to develop in the future.

Club Most Improved

This award is presented to a player who has displayed significant improvement in their game from previous seasons.

Rising Star

This award is presented to the Club’s Fairest and Best junior player. The player must display outstanding skills, coachability, team commitment, consistent high performance and future potential to play at a high level when they move to the Open competition.

President’s Award

This award is presented by the President to a player, committee member, coach, umpire or other volunteer for exceptional service to the club.

Umpire Contribution Award

This award is presented to a player that has made a significant contribution to umpiring at the club. They must demonstrate a willingness and keenness to further develop their umpiring skills. They must display consistency, reliability, loyalty and commitment to all facets of umpiring. They must have undertaken formal umpire training or accreditation and have as a minimum a current Theory Exam result.

highest goal scorer

This award is presented to the player in each age group who has scored the highest number of goals in the season.

Life Membership

To be considered for Life Membership the member must have been a member of the club for at least 10 years and been either a member of the Selection Committee, and/or coach or umpire, and/or member of the Committee for at least 5 of those 10 years.
