Set up so as the WD is close to the GK and GD is at the head of the circle.
GD set up on their player and holds for a high ball, making sure the GK releases in the space that the GD has made to receive a pass. The GD holding the GA gives the GD more space to receive the pass.
After the GD has received, the next pass then goes to the WD driving down the side line. Once this has been drilled over and over again, players will form an understanding and release into the space for the WD to drive into.
The C is there as back up and also offers to the GD giving two options.
WD must set up on the circle as to make out they want to receive the pass.
When the GK throws in from the other side of the post the same set up applies. WD on the side of the ball and GD at the head of the circle holding the GA out of the space GD wants to receive pass.
